A Great Grass Season

It may have been a fairly wet and miserable start to grass season but once the Sun came out we were treated to lots of lovely sunny days. Sunny weather always encourages people to play Polo and this Summer we welcomed many more new members to the extent the club is now full. There are still the odd slots for lessons though.

It has been a very successful season for the Stewarton teams capturing a few tournament wins and runners up in the others. The horses all went very well and finished the season in great condition.

We played a lot this year with some members clocking up over 300 chukkas so the little break before arena season will be welcomed by those tired bodies.

Arena season kicks off on October 5th when we look forward to welcoming back the university players and not forgetting we all have the end of season party to look forward to too. Edinburgh had better brace itself!!
